ABOUT THE WEBSITE
The aim of this website is to present a small part of
the valuable archive of Luigi Salvini, particularly the part concerning
his activities as an expert in Bulgarian Studies. The archive was
donated to the Slavic Studies Section of the Department of Linguistics
at the University of Pisa by Salvini’s heirs, along with nearly 7,000 of
his books. Curator of the archive is Professor Giuseppe Dell’Agata. The
digitalisation of the documents and their future preparation for use as
a digital format was his idea.
The design and artistic decisions were made by Mario Staikov. Maria
Efremova managed picture processing and the creation of the site.
Nadezhda Stoyanova and Ekaterina Pantcheva wrote the texts and the
document descriptions. The Italian translation was made by Alessandra
Bertuccelli.
All the images in this website are from Luigi Salvini’s archive. Should
you copy or quote them, please give credit to Professor Giuseppe
Dell’Agata, curator of the archive, kept in Pisa.
