A letter from Konstantin Mutafov (in Italian), 29 November, 1939, Sofia.
Here Mutafov expresses his deep condolence regarding the death of L. Salvini’s mother. All Salvini’s friends were sorry he was not present at the Italian Book Exhibition in Sofia. At the opening Mutafov met Luciano De Feo who confirmed he would be awarded an Italian order. Then Mutafov thanks Salvini for all his support during his career, especially at its end. The final words of the letter are marked by romantic touch: Mutafov calls Italy his spiritual motherland and the Italian language – the most beautiful language in the world. |
